Special Call for Submissions – Dark Tales from the Outside
WATG Press is pleased to open this special, rolling call for submissions. There is no deadline. The call will close once enough stories have been accepted to complete the flash anthology.
Special Call for Submissions – Dark Tales from the Outside
I’m seeking dark tales from around the world and beyond—stories rooted in cultural fears, forgotten folklore, regional legends, urban nightmares, exile, alienation, “outsider” perspectives, or horrors that come from places we rarely look. These may be grounded in a specific location or set in realms that exist only in imagination. Show me shadows from every corner of the map—and from places with no map at all.
Genres: Horror, gothic, and dark fiction.
Word Count: Flash fiction under 800 words
Deadline: None — the call closes when enough stories are gathered.
Publication: Approximately one month after the call closes
Payment: Non-paying market — contributors will receive a digital copy of the anthology.

Editor for WATG Press

Dark Tales from the Outside is a great title Dakria. I have one (started while I was on the cruise) that I need to finish but that I think will fit the theme well.
